Wine in a water bottle??

Pretty much every underage drinker has had vodka etc in a water bottle. but does wine go bad in a water bottle?

  1. Well I don't think it's a good idea cos Vodka is clear so really you can't tell if it's vodka or water in the water bottle, but with wine its either red or white and you can totally tell whats going on.


  2. Eventually yes, Reds faster than whites.  Red will stay good (if kept in the dark in a cool place) for a day or two and white for 3 or 4.

  3. Each of the "tavernas" (restaurants) in Greece make their own "house retsina" (wine) and they serve it up in jugs, jars, water bottles, whatever. It didn't seem to affect the taste, but I don't think it was STORED that way, just served up.

    I guess it depends how long it's going to be in the bottle.
