Wine or mixed drink?

my husband and i are celebrating our 1st year of marriage. i am hand dipping strawberries in chocolate. is it best to serve it with wine or a mixed drink? i don't want either of us to get sick.

red wine or a nice port

A sweet white wine would go very nicely with the chocolate dipped strawberries.  Hogue Late Harvest Riesling or Columbia Winery Cellar Master's Riesling will do very well.  You could also get an Italian sweet sparkling wine like Asti Spumante.  Good luck and Happy Anniversary.

its always better to drink wine over mixed drinks...

Normally you drink champagne with strawberries but not covered in chocolate. You bite the strawberry and then take a drink and it brings out the full flavour of the champagne. Alternativly buy a good bottle of Cava strawberries and have them in a nice bath together .Happy Anniversary

Champagne is traditional.  Not sure what mixed drink would go with chocolate covered strawberries.

what ever u do just do not drink wine first and mixed drink after that cause it makes u sick

i think its better to drink mixed and wine after that
