Hey guys, please help with suggestions for wine tours in the area that aren't too pricey and can provide transportation? (for individuals and/or groups). Thank you.

  1. There are lots of wineries in the Morgan Hill area. My boyfriend works for Le Grande Affaire Limo service- they offer wine tours to any area. He says a lot of people really enjoy the Morgan Hill wineries as a closer alternative than going all the way to Napa (that makes it cheaper too).

Not sure what you consider "too pricey" but you might want to give them a call! Here's the website: http://www.legrandeaffaire.com/index.php

  2. Price may be reflective on the level of service you expect.

You could always place a posting on Craigslist for a designated driver with a van or go with some level of professional company.

    Here are a few

  3. Some areas that are great are the Santa Cruz Mountains wineries or the Livermore Valley wineries.  I would suggest Livermore valley.  They are all close to each other and usually are free or $5 for tastings.

    You can go to www.livermorewine.com

It has links to the wineries and transportation.  You can also call a limo or car rental service and ask about renting a party bus with driver.

  4. there's ernesto and juan gillardo wine tasting over at the St. James park.
