Wine with Butter Chicken?

What kind of wine would go best with Indian Butter Chicken...I am having a tough time finding a match

Generally a sweeter wine one of the reisling varieties or a sauvignon blanc are good matches with spiced foods, but beer if often the best match

I would definitely do a white. The reds might be too peppery and compete with the intense flavours of the dish. Plus, it has SO much cream and butter, and nice crisp white like a Chardonnay might cut through the richness nicely.

Frankly wine does not pair well with Indian food. Maybe because they are too bold and spicy. I would go with my favorite beer. Some liquor shops and grocery stores carry Kingfisher beer. It would be the best combo with butter chicken. If you can't find it go with heineken.
