Hong Kong’s impressive player Wing Ki Wong showed his elevated craft and toppled Russia’s experienced player Vladimir Ivanov in Men’s Singles first round at Maybank Malaysia Open 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday, January 16.
The in-form Wing Ki, who has been showing up a superb performance for the last few months, put up spectacular show of attacking and positive badminton and remained successful in winning the opening round battle in just 30 minutes.
Hong Kong shuttler did not any respect to his challenger at any stage of the match and remained successful in winning the battle in straight games with a dominating margin on the score board.
On the other hand, the Russian shuttler failed to show up his positive skills in the arena as he failed to control the pace of rallies and eventually became a prey to the in-form Hong Kong shuttler without winning any set.
