Wings Of Icarus becomes hot favourite at Chepstow card – Maiden Hurdle (Div II) Preview
The champion trainer David Pipe’s brilliant gelding, Wings Of Icarus, is heading the market for the Division II race of ‘Hire One Maiden Hurdle’ which is scheduled to be held at Chepstow horseracing course on Saturday, February 25.
The contest of 2m4f distance has total 11 entries including De Waiting Game, Draco Boy, Holywell, Notcantdoit, On My Living Life, Presenting Dr T, Special Mate, Wings Of Icarus, Emma Soda, Pyleigh Lass and She’s A Tucker.
With Wings Of Icarus being the hot favourite, On My Living Life and Special Mate are expected to get 2nd and 3rd top spots in the race respectively.

Wings Of Icarus
The talented novice runner has won two out of his total three races so far since making his debut in May 2011. After finishing first in his maiden outing, the dashing gelding went to run as 2-1 favourite in his second race and won again.

On My Living Life
Venetia Williams’ black gelding started his career in January 2011. Having got pulled out in his maiden outing, he finished 3rd
in the second one. The seven-year-old brilliant runner accomplished his maiden victory on April 3, 2011.
As a whole, he has run for three times so far. He is likely to do well again today and wrest the 2nd spot.
Special Mate
Following his maiden victory in the maiden race on February 17, 2011, Tim Vaughan’s young gelding finished second in his second outing on January 13, 2012.
These two outstanding performances have exposed the gelding’s skills properly. In today’s contest, he is likely to show a decent run and gain at least third top position.
