  1. I don't believe so.

She was arrested in Los Angeles, and brought back to Arizona for trial.  She faced state charges, and was initially sentenced to death and imprisoned at the state prison in Florence AZ.

SHe then was ruled insane, and confined to the state mental hospital in Phoenix, from which she escaped more than once.  The last time she escaped, she lived in Northern California for over six years, before being again sent back to the hospital in Arizona.

Eventually she was released, and lived afterwards in N. Cal. and back in Phoenix.

From this bio, it is hard to see how she could have had an association with the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, which is in Kansas.
