“Winning Champions League was the best moment,” insists Jamie Carragher - Football News
Liverpool FC defender, Jamie Carragher, has admitted that winning the UEFA Champions League in 2005 was the highlight of his career.
Carragher, who is set to retire from all forms of football at the end of the season, has claimed that the UEFA Champions League victory in 2005 was the best moment in his professional career. The defender has
won a number of titles with Liverpool but winning Europe’s premier club competition was the best of the lot.

comeback in the second-half led them to an unbelievable win.
“Istanbul, nothing will beat that - the Champions League final. It's difficult to ever top that. We've won FA Cups, [League] Cups, the Uefa Cup but nothing compared to the Champions League. It's the biggest and
best trophy that you can win in club football. It's what we achieved,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“A couple of times we went close but it was Manchester United or Arsenal. It's not something I lose sleep over. I've been very lucky to achieve some of the things I have,” he concluded.
