Winning a world championship...?

I was reading the autobiography of Valentino Rossi and I noticed something. He said that he won the World Championship in Sepang. So is that the last race with which the champion is choosen? I see in the calendar that there is another one after the race in Sepang.

  1. Hi A.Nik, how you doing?

Your right, Vale did win the Championship with 2 races to go. For 2003 it was Sepang. Here is the low down on that race: http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/motogp_n...

He had such a lead over the rest of the field, not nobody could catch him.

This years calender ( here: http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/motogp_c...  is different from 2003.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Hey A.nik,

You didn't say which year (and he's won a few!) but the circuits and schedules change every year, with places being dropped and moved through the schedule for all sorts of reasons.

When Wiggy san gets online he'll probably be able to tell you what year etc. without even googling!!

  3. wiggysan got it

But there he goes being a know it all again
