Question:

Winning back my partner..

My partner and I have, well had, been together for 6 years. About 3 months ago I cheated on him with a girl from work and I told him about it. He seemed to be okay with it but a few weeks ago we had a huge argument about it and I discovered that he is still very angry and upset with me about what I did. He asked me to move out. He also said that he is still deeply in love with me, that no one else could ever come close and that we are the perfect couple, that I'm his best friend. But he says that he doesn't know if he should take me back because of what I did. We still see each other almost every day and when I stay over at his house we still make love.

My question is. Tonight I am staying over at his house and I want to do something really romantic for him as he will arrive home after me. I am making him his favorite dinner but as I am not the 'romantic type' I'm a little stuck on what else to do.

Also, he has stopped kissing me on the lips, he kisses me on the forehead and cheek and right next to my lips, but not on my lips themselves. Why is this??

Please, I know I messed up but I just can't imagine my life without him. Any advice would help..

  1. quite a dilemma you have but not the end of the world. by the sound of it he still wants you but is still deeply hurt that you would cheat on him. it all comes down to trust, just reassure him your not going to do it again, it meant nothing etc etc. as for the romantic thing well, make dinner, run a bath, light some candles, play some soft music and just see how it goes.  not kissing you on the lips, again its the trust thing, some see it as the most intimate thing a couple can do, just try and reassure him and give it time it will all sort itself out in the end hope this helps and all the best
