Winnipeg Canada - Extended Stay Hotels?

Question

I am going to Winnipeg Manitoba for a course in the summer at the University of Manitoba

Other than the dorms can anyone recommend an extended stay hotel which is not too far or on a bus route to the University of Manitoba

Its the U of M not the University of Winnipeg

Try the Quality Inn on Pembina Highway

Its on the Pembina Hwy bus route to the University of Manitoba

The U of M  is on the south side of Winnipeg - within the city of Winnipeg limits

The Quality Inn has extended stay room rates for a month or two .  Also they have   theme rooms

There is a motel on Pembina Highway, very close to the U of M called the Capri Motel (I'll double check that for you when I have the chance) and I know the owner encourages extended stay's. I believe, two years ago, he quoted me $7-800 for a month in a suite with a kitchenette.

I'm not sure how long you plan on staying but there is the option of renting an apartment on a monthly basis, some rentail agencies do that...you could also look on Craiglist for room and board!

There is the Capri Motel which is on the south side of the university on Pembina Hwy and also the Palmomino Motel which is closer to the main entrance, near the Dairy Queen on Pembina Hwy.  Both on are on the Pembina Bus Routes, the Capri is on the 60 or 62 bus route (quickest to get from there to University) and the Palomomino you can either cross the stree to get on a 60 or 62 or 76 I think it is.  (or that one you can walk too)
