Winows Movie Maker won't save my movie?

I can save it as a project, but when I try to save it as a movie file I get this message: Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available and then try again.

I do have enough (more than enough) space. The sources and location are still available as well. I have been able to save plenty of movie files before.

  1. we have the same problem..but sadly i can't repair it...but i recommend you to use any other movie maker like power director or anything but now i uses sony vegas movie studio and it works great...hope this helps...

  2. Are you sure that you havnt moved the files because if you moved them or have them on an external usb or harddrive that can cause problems. and also if the file is very large there can be other problems with movie maker sepecially if it is the xp version.
