Wins for Atlanta Dream, San Antonio Silver Stars and Seattle Storm – WNBA Roundup 24 June
1.       Atlanta Dream versus New York Liberty
In the first matchup of the night, Atlanta Dream paid a visit to the Prudential Center and came out 74-64 winners over New York Liberty. Angel McCoughtry bounced back from her injury with a 23 point performance to lead the way.
Atlanta gave up a 10 point first half advantage and found them-selves to be trailing by 2 points in the third; however a strong third quarter helped them regain control. Sancho Lyttle also chipped in with 19 points and made two
key three pointers in the game whereas the remaining roster made small but valuable contributions.
For Liberty, a double digit performance from four of their players was not enough. Cappie Pondexter managed to chip in 12 points before fouling out early in the fourth quarter while Leilani Mitchell led the way with 16 points.
2.       San Antonio Silver Stars versus Los Angeles Sparks
Playing in front of an away crowd at the Staples Center, the San Antonio Silver Stars handed out a 91-71 loss to Los Angeles Sparks, giving them their first defeat at home this season.
Sophia Young led the way with 20 points and 9 rebounds, Shameka Christon managed to contribute 16 while Becky Hammon managed to put up a double-double performance of 12 points and 10 assists.
Candace Parker led the way with 15 points and 15 rebounds for LA while the rookie sensation, Nneka Ogwumike managed to contribute 10 points. DeLisha Milton also played well to chip in with 13 points.
3.       Seattle Storm versus Washington Mystics

In the third matchup of the night, Seattle Storm required a late run to manage a 72-55 win over Washington Mystics at the Key Arena which left their coach pleased with the team performance.
Sue Bird and Ann Wauters managed to get 14 points each while Katie Smith and Camille Little managed to chip in 9 points each.
Crystal Langhorne led all scorers with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Matee Ajavon and Noelle Quinn tried their best to lend a helping hand by contributing 11 and 10 points respectively.
