Wins for San Antonio Silver Stars, Washington Mystics, Seattle Storm and Chicago Sky – WNBA Roundup 1st July 
A total of four matches were played in WNBA on Sunday July 1st with San Antonio Silver Stars successfully defending their home court against defending champions Minnesota Lynx. Washington Mystics came
out winners against Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Storm defeated Connecticut Sun and Chicago Sky beat Atlanta Dream.
1.      San Antonio Silver Star versus Minnesota Lynx
San Antonio Silver Stars, playing in front of their home crowd at the AT&T Center, defeated Minnesota Lynx 93-84 in a game, in which they never trailed to get their fifth win in as many games.
Becky Hammon led the way with 23 points while Sophia Young chipped in with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Shameka Christon recorded 17 points while Jia Perkins put up 12 points. For the Lynx, Monica Wright came off
the bench to lead the way with 18 points while Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus recorded 15 and 10 points respectively.
2.      Washington Mystics versus Phoenix Mercury
In the second matchup of the night, Washington Mystics managed their way to a 90-77 victory over Phoenix Mercury for only their third victory of the season.
Crystal Langhorne led the Mystics charge with 22 points and Noelle Quinn managed to muster 18 points. Michelle Snow provided a helping hand in the game with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
On the other hand, Charde Houston recorded a game high of 26 points while DeWanna Bonner and Samantha Prahalis chipped in with 20 points each for Mercury.
3.      Seattle Storm versus Connecticut Sun
Playing at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Seattle Storm recorded an away 89-83 win over Connecticut Sun in a game which took which an extra period to be decided.
Camille Little scored a game high of 27 points to lead the Settle effort and she was provided equal help by Tina Thompson who scored 20 while Sue Bird managed to get 11 points.
Kara Lawson tried her best with 22 points and despite three other players crossing the double digit mark, Seattle could not be stopped from winning their 6th game in 7 outings.
4.      Chicago Sky versus Atlanta Dream
Sylvia Fowles managed to get 21 points with the last two coming in the form of game deciding free throws to help Chicago Sky defeat Atlanta Dream 71-69. With the win, Sky snapped their 4
game losing streak.
Eshaya Murphy Sonja Petrovic and Lecoe Willingham, all came off the bench to chip in 13, 12 and 11 points respectively.
While on the other hand, Angel McCoughtry recorded 21 points and at the same time Sancho Lyttle chipped in with 18 but their efforts were not enough in the end.
