How many of you HAVE a Wintec saddle?

I was considering getting a dressage one. Should I?

Please tell me the reasons WHY I should. I know NO ONE who has one, and I DO NOT want to make the wrong choice.

  1. I worked with an olympic dressage rider that rode in an Isabelle Werth wintec dressage saddle.......I think that says it all.

  2. Note the Wintec fit disclaimer: "The innovative systems in our saddles offer unsurpassed flexibility in achieving an optimal fit, however, no one saddle can claim to fit every horse. It is always recommended you seek ongoing professional advice on the fit, and in meeting the unique needs of each horse/rider combination."

Here are some of the finest expert saddle fitters in the country. They work with a number of saddle makers who will make custom fit saddles and I don't know if Wintec is one of them but I suggest you consult with one of these experts before you purchase an expensive saddle that may not fit perfectly. There are not many expert fitters here in the states who can, like an expert tailor, custom fit individual horse and rider with a perfect fit saddle but these fitters can. Most have a limited service area and will come to your barn at established fees but many will also travel long distance at your expense. A "perfect fit" saddle is worth the expense.
