One of the most important requirements to stay alive in the bush is to stay dry. How do I do this in the winter when i would be all wet and sweaty (hopefully control the sweat to some extent is key) from the snow. What do i i need to do to stay dry overnight?

  1. warm clothing

  2. Staying dry isn't easy but if you layer insulating layers - fleece, polypro, wool - and do not wear ANY cotton you will stay warm enough.  These materials wick sweat and retain warmth even while damp.  A good outer waterproof layer - jacket, pants, gloves, gaiters - is extremely necessary also.  Keep any clothing you may want to change into in your sleeping bag.

Build a dugloo.  Compact the snow and either dig in to create a room or dig down and throw a tarp up.  Snow is good insulation, you can be quite cosy in an igloo with a candle or two going..

To be honest it sounds like you know nothing about snow camping and would probably put youself in danger to go.
