  1. black rocks in the plain vases, or you could fill them with blue coloured water too.

spray paint xmas ornaments to match your colours & place in vase.

  2. poinsettia

i don't know that they are offered in ice blue (i think there are black ones), but maybe artificial ones are. you can always accent the ice blue with other things like baby's breath. that can be found at a craft store.

You could also try glass vases with ribbon curls (the kind on the stick that are used for flower arrangements). You should be able to find both colors in these.

I'll edit if I think of any more ideas.

  3. branches with frosted snow on them. You can get the spray sparkle snow from craft shops. See link for example!

  4. I'm trying to picture exactly what kind of round vase you have.  is it big enough to fit christmas balls in?  because if so then I would get a bunch in black and ice blue if you can find them...or get a bunch and spray paint them.  then put them in the vase with some ribbon or spray painted branches with glitter or spray painted leaves (no flowers) in white or silver with glitter.  that would look great and since the balls are blue and black, they wont look christmasy.

  5. Why don't you fill you vases with tiny wrapped packages with snow and a little glitter or tiny irridescent wedding bells.  I think that would look really pretty.  And if your favors are small enough to fit in the boxes then people could take them as they leave your reception. You could use pearlized ice blue and black wrapping and ribbons with your names and wedding date on them.  Good luck.  You got a lot of good ideas here.

  6. same colors i have- save thing.. i dont wanna use flowers... same time of year! geez! haha..

go to a craft store that sells wedding supplies, i bought a bunch of white flower petals...the fake ones...and got "floral spray" and sprayed them a pretty pretty bright baby blue... and i just went on candles4less.com and got a ton of tea lights and their holders, and im just putting a lot of flower pedals on the table, with candles around the middle... it's simple and i love it. it looks good with a winter wedding cause the candle light makes it warm...  plus if you have a silver table number holder, it looks good...

i was gonna do the vases thing too but what am i gonna do with 12+ flower vases? and flowers cost way tooooo much to do 10+ tables.. and everyone expects flowers...

  7. What do the round vases look like? How tall are they, etc?

There are lots of things that you can do. I really like when people use the submersible floralytes. I think it adds a nice glow to the table.

    Maybe something like this:

Or, you could also get some of the vase stones. You can add the stones to the bottom, then add some water and floating candles.

  8. I'm trying to picture black and ice blue. You could put small lites under the vases filled with water. Put small rocks inside the vases along with small living  gold fish.

  9. I used candles.  We put them in a wide mouthed glass bowl.  Then under that, we had big round mirrors.  I thought it was really pretty.  We had others, but those were with flowers.

  10. you can fill the vases with decorative stones or balls etc... or colored sand (layers or not) in black and/or blue. Or maybe fake snow?....That could look really pretty for a winter wedding.  Good luck!
