  1. Wait until the holidays and look for snowflake theme things.  My brother had an early Feb. wedding and he and his wife got a TON!! of snowflake themed "Holiday" decorations when stores starting putting holiday decorations on clearance.

    also try oriental trading

just google "winter wedding" and you'll get tons of ideas.

  2. Buy classy velvet bags in a dark colour - you can buy these wholesale as jewellers buy loads of them.

Once you have the bags you can put whatever you want in them - something like sugared almonds are good as they can be bought cheaply in bulk, and can be kept (they last indefinitely) or eaten as your guests choose.

Alternatively, maybe a tasteful Christmas decoration might be suitable? A tree bauble, a christmas candle, or a christmas centrepiece?

Or even a sprig of mistletoe, to help your guests find a partner of their own? You could give out dried, plastic, fresh, or even little live sprigs in small plant pots. Google it nearer the time or ask the florist in charge of your other flowers.

  3. hmm I would look for snowflakes and things like that after Christmas when they go on sale. An idea I did for wedding decor though is started gathering branches from neighbors etc. painted them white and then sprayed them with silver glitter spray. I put them along the aisle for the ceremony and then in the centerpieces and head table for the ceremony. It cost me a total of 18 dollars to do this for the bride and everyone kept commenting on how magical it made the wedding seem.

  4. Packets of hot cocoa, Cookie cutters attached to a recipe card, Hershey's kisses.......

  5. Buy some Christmas ornaments (the plain ones that come in colors like blue, silver, red, green and gold) and some paint markers and decorate them.
