I live in Singapore and I'll be travelling to the Swiss Alps next month (my first ever trip to a cold place, where the temperature can drop to 0-10 deg Celcius). Where can I buy good winter clothing in Singapore on a low budget? What material should I buy? I've heard that made in China do not keep as warm, is this true?

  1. Most of the departmental store likes: Robinson, John Little, CK Tang have winter clothes section, the offer price are good during clearance sales. You can also try the shops at:

    Mustafa Centre in Little India

    Lucky Plaza at Orchard Road

    United Square at Novena

Not all China products are poor; do make little quality inspection before payment at cashier counter.  Polyester or pure wool material should be good enough to keep body warm.

    Enjoy shopping.

  2. Jurong East Entertainment Centre, 2nd level, real good and cheap.
