So, i am a new years baby , and i was thinking up some themes for my 14th birthday which is coming up. I opted out of having a party last year, but deicded it would be fun to do one this time around. Tell me if you think this is okay, please be honest =] :

I was thinking of doing a whole winter theme. Although this will not be a very large party, just me and a couple of girlfriends, a girls night out. I am hoping to have it just before christmas in hopes to keeping the " winter wonderland" theme alive. First they would come to my house where the living room will be active with a white cloth coverd table, featuring a chocolate fondu fountain, and hot chocolate, cookies, and such winter treats. Secondly a white limo will pick us up at my house (my parents have allready okayed this) and drive us downtown to see all the winter lights, which are quite beautiful. then we would head over to a nearby restaurant, eat.. then head back to my house for cake and presents.

If you have any other ideas that could be added, especially somethings to do when we arrive back to my house that tie into the theme and keep things interesting would be great! I'm having a hard time coming up with activities to do that work with the theme and age group. I would love to head outside for a winter activity, but i have no idea. Also what should i do for decorations? And please help me with what else i could serve for food when they first arrive that fit the theme. Thanks ALOT! :):)

  2. worth taking the time to read!

Put small gifts in boxes and wrap with winter themed paper.  Play music and pass the gifts around.  Have an adult stop the music.  Whoever is holding that gift  gets to keep it.  Keep doing it until all the gifts are gone, someone might get more than 1,  At the end open the gifts.

    Snowman game:

get some rolls of toilet paper.  Cut out a black hat, orange nose, black buttons, and a mouth with construction paper.  Have teams if you have enought for that or just see how fast you can wrap your friend with the toilet paper then they have to use scotch tape to tape the other pieces to make a snowman.  Make sure to take pictures of this one!

Go outside and have a snow ball fight.  If there is no snow use marshmallows!

    Paint Snowman in the Snow!

Use spray bottles and food coloring in water and let the kids have fun painting the snow.

    Drink:

Polar Ice Cap - Ingredients: blue kool-aid (prepared as directed), ginger ale, vanilla ice cream, clear glass, straw. Directions: (1) put the kool-aid and the ginger ale in the refrigerator until they are cold. (2) fill a glass almost halfway with blue kool-aid. (3) add ginger ale almost to the top of the glass. (4) drop in one big scoop of vanilla ice cream. (5) enjoy your "North Pole" drink with a straw!
