  1. Very simple....you start and run motor with ear muffs and a garden hose to warm engine then spray FOGGING OIL into the carb till the engine stalls (engine at idle speed)... then you remove the engine drain plug usually towards the bottom of engine on starboard side (facing the engine in boat that is the right side of the engine) after you drain the water from the block you then drain the water from the exhaust manifolds there is a drain plug at the bottom of the unit-replace both plugs engine and exhaust manifold.

Then get youself a 50:1 mix of anti-freeze and a funnel because you are going to pour this mix into the hoses at the top of the engine found at the thermostate housing fill till it comes out the back of the boat, stop pouring and replace the hoses.NOW THE ENGINE IS DONE.....

Change the lower unit oil also you do this buy removing the oil plug at the bottom of the lower unit (towards the point opposite of the prop) then remove the vent s***w same side as the drain plug but up about 18 inches ....then you will want to have 80/90 weight oil and a refill kit this can be bought at a local marine store approx 20 bucks. You start re-filling the lower unit from the BOTTOM s***w leave the vent s***w out to let air out when you see the oil come out the vent s***w hole STOP replace the vent s***w and then remove the oil pump kit and replace the BOTTOM s***w......

Be sure to have a few paper towels on hand it can be messy!!

THIS IS NOT HARD IT TAKES APPROX 45 MIN TO DO AFTER YOU DO IT A FEW SEASONS......

If you decide to take it to a dealer plan to spend approx $85.00.....

    Good Luck!!!
