  1. Run it out of gas and while your doing it,  use RV antifreeze to suck through the cooling system and leave it.

  2. An outboard does not have a closed cooling system.  The water used to cool the engine will drain when taken out of the water

  4. Really simple

    1) fogging fluid - hook her up to the hose, and run fogging fluid into the carbs (1 can)... she will start running rough and smoking but that is cool.  It is also okay if it stalls out.

    2) lower case gear oil - I change this in the fall just in case any water made its way in there - you would not want that freezing

    3) add fuel stabilizer - simple... and ideally you want 1/4 tank of fuel, but with your tanks it really does not matter

    4) flush out - you can do this a few ways, the best way is once you have about 1/4 can of fogging fluid left, dissconnect the hose (while running) - let it pump out for a minute then connect to an anti freeze bottle, continue running and spraying fogging fluid until the antifreeze is gone

  5. If ran in salt water flush well>Get some engine fog pull front cover and run engine till warm then spray all 4 carbs till smokes well don't stall engine our will be hard starting> Replace spark plugers before starting summer>>Run stablizer & carb cleaner in fuel tank>>
