  1. The operating system disc first then the drivers and utilities then the other discs although you should not need works 2000 as you have works 8.5.  You could if you wish use the Maxblast disc first to clean the drive but the installation disc should do this for you anyway.

  2. "downgrading" to XP  will call for a new XP disk. if you're serious about dropping to XP [ which has been discontinued and won't get any more updates or service packs ] I recommend you get the XP disk and haul it off to a computer nerd shop.

    get it done right.

  3. you dont have to use any of them. just format your system drive usually C:/, vista's cleared

  4. Number 5

operating system reinstallation windows vista home premium

  5. 5.operating system reinstallation windows vista home premium

Just keep in mind this will also likely wipe your hard drive of any files you have. Also, this will just reinstall windows vista. If you wanted to change over to say XP, you would need an XP operating disk, and even then you may have some problems. Computers that come with vista pre-installed usually have hardware that may not work correctly with XP. Good luck.

  6. just try .......

    take the backup on dvd

there is option in control pannel for taking backup

now what you have to do in case your windows get virus or any other problem you can restore the system from that dvd
