Wire on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

It's a 1994. On the stock head unit it was clipped to it. It comes out with the other speaker wires and then separates. It has a clip on to to slide on te stock head unit???

It should be the ground wire. Older Jeep/Chrysler radios had no ground wire in the power/speaker plugs, so they used a separate ground connection or a large braided copper strap to ground.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand the question here, can you clarify? Also what is the color(s) of the wire in question?
