Wired Headset Problem for Telephone.?

I have had this Panasonic Wired Telephone headset for over 4 years now. Its very nice for home phone use. Now for some reason it has broke. The people on the line hear me perfectly, while I cant hear them at all.

I believe the problem is in the part of the wire where you plug it into the telephone. Any idea if this could be fixed and how?

If the wire is broken, you should bring the set to a telephone repair center or somebody who has a telephone jack crimping tool. Just cut the jack and replace it with a new one.

The receiver my have been damaged too. You need to have the repair technician to look at it. It may not be simple to open the receiver housing.
