  1. Wireless is pretty handy, especially if you want to switch bikes (between mountain and road, or two road bikes, etc).   Every once in awhile you may get some radio interference which will cause it to blip out for a little bit, but generally they're reliable and accurate.

Regular wired computers are great unless you damage the wire and if you don't mind the cluttered look that the clamps/magnets give to your bike.

The choice is up to you....they'll both do a good job.   Just pick one that has a display you like, buttons that are easy to press while riding (and with winter gloves on, if that's important to you), and that has the features you need (cadence, heart rate, etc.....other than that they all pretty much have the same basics on them nowadays).

  2. I took off my wired one. Because simply I like more sophistication! I have Road Bike too. This is the one I bought from Amazon and like this lot. It has several different functions. I never had any problem and using for over one year.

Looks like Amazon may not have this at this moment. Ask them when you can get it or search online at. Planet Bike is the manufacturer.

This is definitely a good one.

Don’t buy a wired one and then try to eBay it at less than half price!

  3. it al depends, there are cheap ones and really good ones.

in general i rather have the wired one

  4. I've used both. Both are good. I have no particular preference. Wireless gets rid of the wire but is bulkier. Wireless is usually a little more costly.
