Question:

Wireing Speakers to my computer?

I recently got a speaker for free off the side of the road, and I'd like to wire it to my computer. The only connection ports on it look like this:

It doesn't have a plug for powers, so I imagine I'll need some sort of power-amplifing device along the wire.

So, how would I go about doing this?

or, would it be more cost-effective to buy another kind of speaker that's easier to connect?

Thanks,

  1. Hi,

Yeah you need an amplifier for this speaker! I would recommend just buying a set of computer speakers, this will probably be cheaper and better than buying an amplifier!

Look for Creative speakers, you can get entry level systems which are quite cheap but still good!
