Wireless G Notebook Adapter, help, please?

Question

Okay, so I downloaded a driver for the Wireless G Notebook adaper on a USB from another computer. I put it on my laptop, but when I try to open it, it says "Please downlosad the latest disk of Multi-volume set and press Okay to continue".

WTF does that mean?

You didn't get the driver correctly.  Try redownloading.  If you repost, give the make/model of your adapter, and where you got the driver.

Not sure.  It sounds to me like you might have either the wrong file or not a complete file.  If you're wireless g adapter is not working and you need a driver, you would not open the driver like an application.  Try this,

right click on My Computer, click on properties, click on the hardware tab, click on device manager.  do you see a device that has a yellow cirlce with a question mark in it?  if so, that more than likely the wireless g adapater.  right click on it, then click properties,  then click update driver,  when asked for location of the driver, point the program to the location of the driver you copied from the usb drive.  Hope this helps.
