Wireless LAN on Acer Aspire Laptop wont work.

Question

I had just bought an Acer Aspire 4520 a few days ago and I had set up a wireless network with a TrendNet router. But it had created an UNSECURE NETWROK, so I had reset the router to create a SECURED NETWORK and started all over again. Now why wont the Wireless LAN on my laptop wont pickup the signal from my router even when the Wireless LAN switch is enabled (Also the light that indicates that the Wireless LAN is enabled wont work). Is the problem with the laptop or the router? Please I really need Help!!! I'm really confused!!!!

I had tons of issues with my acer 5050.  

I had to go to the acer website; get the driver downloads & re-install the drivers for the system.  This happened 3-4 times, as I think they were changing the driver parameters.

Give that a try.

Also, I still have to tell Windows to 'Repair this connection' almost every time I want connection, but at least I can get on line.
