Wireless N routing issue

Question

SO I need to broadcast a wireless signal about 250 feet. the previous set-up connected with wireless g with very low signal. I want to know if I use a wireless N antenna, will it pick up a stronger wireless G signal or do I have to get a wireless N router?

i think you will need to get a wireless n router.  you could get a wireless repeater but they are just as expensive as a router.
