Wireless Router Intenna Question?

Question

I was thinking you know how you use a WIRELESS ROUTER to connect to your modem. Is it possible to take a larger intenna to get better signal strenth? I don't want to buy an intenna I just want to know if theres intenna's I could take off of some of my stuff such as a radio intenna to boost signal strenth.

there are router boosting anrennaes but you cant just take an antenna off something else and put it onto your router, you will damage the router, the antennas are specially tuned for the frequency that routers use so do not try to put the antenna from something else onto the router, if you do this you will soon be having to buy a new router, a bit of a false economy! spend the money onb a proper booster antenna , it will be cheaper in the long run
