Wireless Router and WiFi Query?

If I were to get a Wireless Router, would I have access to WiFi, yes or no?

If no, how come?

  1. yes, as long as you hook it up correctly and know the password (if there is one) and if it doesn't than contact customer serves or hire someone to fix it.


  2. You would have WiFi, but whether that leads anywhere depends upon what else is connected to the router (cable or DSL modem, other PC's?).

    If you wanted to wirelessly connect a PC to that router, the PC would need a wireless device (if not built in).

  4. YES, and everybody near your router will have access, too. So what you are gonna do is after buying the router, set it up at home and then set up a password so that when someone tries to connect to ur private network, only you can connect and not other people (eg:neighbors) . only you and the people you will allow to access your internet connection will be able to login to your network :)
