I need to know if there is a wirless router i can use thats compatable with windows vista i have a berklin wirless router and brought the usb acess card but it was not compatable with windows vista will i have to upgrade my router as well???

    I have windows vista on my computer and we use a dlink router and it works very very very well

    Your router broadcasts a standard wireless signal.

    Try a linksys USB wireless adapter. I love mine.

    Ask the attendant at the store for compatibility with vista, he/she should know. If they are wrong take it back.

  3. the router works in any operating system. there is no requirements regarding the operating system. it is the usb card that is not compatible with the vista.

    i suggest you buy the linksys wireless card. here is the list of wireless adapters that is compatible with vista:

    if the adapter has an available drivers for vista then it is compatible.
