Wireless accidentally turned off on laptop?

Somehow my wireless got turned off. I have a dell laptop and it keeps telling me to press Fn and F2 to enable wirless again ...but when i do that it still doesnt turn back on...how do i turn it back on?

There's probably a hardware switch somewhere on the laptop (with a Dell probably the side) that can also turn the wireless networking off.  I would not be surprised if that is switched to off.
