I have a wireless switch on my computer, and I could use wireless internet when I first had it. Though I reset it... and it doesn't work. I've been trying everything... nothing's working... Well... in my Device Manager... it used to show a Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter... but now... it doesn't, and I've installed it and everything... but it's still not working and it's still not on there.

  1. 1st: you may want to try to power cycle (turn off the wireless router, modem and computer)  For the wireless router and modem, make sure un-plug the power supply from the wall, wait 5 second than put them back in.  plug in the modem first, than router second.  After all the light stable, turn on your PC, it should found the wireless signal......  Good luck

  2. it sounds to me as if you dont pay for your own internet access. If that true, then your neighbors may have moved their router, or placed a password/mac address filter on their router.

if you do pay for your own isp, then try repairing the connection by clicking on the little monitor in your startup menu and click repair. other things to try is reset the router.
