Wireless conection with xbox 360

Question

i have an xbox 360 with a wireless connection, i had a d-link router set up and i had no problems with connecting the xbox online. However i have just bought a belkin gplus router, that connects to the internet fine but wont let me connect the xbox the net for gaming, do you know y????????
