Wireless connection around the globe.?

Question

I live in the UK, and have a laptop and an internet card, the internet it connected wirelessly from my main computer to my laptop, but say If i was to go on holiday to Australia or India, would my wireless internet connection still work? If not what do i need to do to make it work?

No but they have jump cards from  cell phone companies that let you do that. Or jest go to a McDonald's and use there free wifi.

Hey erm I think it would not work as your router would be at home and you would be at the other side of the world. Also by the time you leave your house you would have already lost the signal.

I don't know if something would work all around the globe so you can have Internet. What I know though in USA Verizon Wireless or AT&T has a plan for 40$ or more and they give you a transmitter one per laptop or desktop and you have Internet all around the USA Continent
