Wireless help!!!!!!!!?

OK, I have a laptop for school and I need help setting up a new profile for the wireless internet. I have wireless on my home computer but i'm totally lost from there. All I know is that I have to know my SSID and Wireless Security Type...... Please help me!

Ya thats right get the password or reset it and u will get it

the SSID is your ten digit home phone number if you have road runner.

the wireless security type is WEP(look for WEP in the drop down thing)

Search for the network on your laptop, but make sure the network is on before you do this. Something should come up (or I hope so) Connect to that network.

It probably is unsecured so you can connect and go.
