Wireless home theatre systems?

Are there any truley wireles Home theater systems out there?

I hate visable wires

I have my TV wall mounted, all cables and power socket behind it.

Hdmi , Scart , Coax , in conduet buried in the wall plastered over . Connections coming out inside built in cupboard 1.5 mt away. so no visable wireing or boxes .

I never thought about surround sound untill all the decorating was finished. there is room in the cupboard to fit a sub woofer ( pointing to the TV) and I have seen wireless rear speakers but not front speakers. can anyone surgust a system.

is it really worth it?

to be truly wirelss it must have batteries, how long will they last? Then there is the expense and hassle of changing them.

There are no truly wireless home theatre systems available.

The few that do offer wireless rear speakers are poor sellers, due to their lousy sound quality.

All wireless speaker systems, no matter what the cost, suffer from drop-out and interference caused by the weather, mobile phones, passing taxis, your fridge and even people walking around the room.

As a result, anyone who actually wants to enjoy their movies will always buy a system with wires.
