  1. I don´t know what you have changed but the I would suggest resetting the router and re-configure it all over again.

  2. try to contact your supplier they might be able to help you, or just take it to the technicians

  3. Connect your computer to the router with a network cable, this does not require the wifi key.

Type 192.168.0.1 into your browser, you may need the username and password, usually default to admin and password on a netgear.

Then navigate to the wifi security section and read the code.

Of course this wont work if you are just trying to hack someone elses wifi, but you wouldn't do that would you??

  4. Connect to the Netgear router using an ethernet cable. Using your browser, open page http://192.168.0.1

When asked for userID and password, enter "admin" and "admin" respectively (without the quote marks).

You should now have main Netgear Settings control page. Click on "Wireless settings" at the left hand side and reset the security key from there. Click on "Apply", and you're done.

(Note: if your Netgear router was supplied by Sky TV, the userID/Password combination is  admin/sky).

  5. Login into the routers ip and change it

  6. Press the reset button on your router.
