Wireless internet on laptop not working?

i am using a router. its a linksys WRT54G. the router works, because other wi-fi devices work, but my laptop cannot find ANY connections. i went to the device manager under network adapters and a device called teredo tunneling pseudo-interface isnt working correctly.

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

does the teredo thing have anything to do with my internet connection not working?

i am using a wired connection right now.

  1. Reinstall the wireless LAN driver.

Contact the maker of your computer and ask them for the driver for your specific model.

  2. If you know your wireless card model, search for the drivers. Goto devices manager and uninstall the old one...and reinstall.

  3. to be honest, im pretty good on computers but sometimes there is nothing YOU personally can do. just give the network people a call (bt, orange etc.) and they may be able to take over your screen and change the channel which you are on or something. see what they can do.

    hope this helps
