  1. Make sure you don't have any other services starting up during your game play.  What I'm referring to is an update that forces a reset.  Also,  check your Event Viewer/Application logs to see what happens during those time that it does shut off.  The logs may tell you when and why it shut off.

  2. If you want to go the free route, you can try changing the channel on your wireless network in your router.  Change it to 1, 6, or 11.  Do not use any channels besides those 3.

If you are still having problems, I say it's time to ditch wireless and go with powerline.  Check this video out: http://www.cnet.com/4520-7390_1-6274537-...

You can still see the need for wireless.  Some people are connecting their ipod and iphones to their home network.  These devices need all the mobility and freedom they can get.

Personally, I still use wireless because I have a laptop I want to bring around to different rooms in my house.  I haven't discovered powerline until a few months ago, but when I read all the reviews on the powerline products on newegg.com, I wonder why more computer savy people are not recommending it.  To me, it is like Norton vs. PC Chillin.
