Wireless keyboard and wireless Mouse

Question

Neither my keyboard nor my mouse will load. Have had both for several years without a problem. The Key board would not work this AM, but the mouse would. I put new batteries in both and followed the directionns on both items and neither will load. The desktop module has three green lights steady on it.
