Wireless linksys router - pls help?

Question

I have a wireless linksys router in my office. Now it is not pinging to me. I can acces the networks but i cannot access the internet. i cannot reboot or switch off the router bcause its not in my room. and i am very much sure its not wep controlled. when i try to ping it says "request timed out". the router ip was 172.16.1.200, nothing changed since but i cant access the router. someone pls help?

i would reboot your pc. if it still doesn't work you will probably have no choice but to restart router.

Sounds like a firewall issue. If your pc is running some sort of firewall application try either adding the ip address of the router to the safety zone in the firewall application or shutdown the firewall software and see if you can connect.

I just tried to ping your router which you shouldn't give out that number by the way     it says connection timed out  so there is a problem with the router
