Wireless password question!!!?

Question

i emailed tiscali saying i had forgot my passpord so they set it to default, on my pc i can get on internet fine, but on my laptop the wireless has a red light on, and will not connect to the internet, iv reset my wireless but still the same happens, any ideas how to resolve this problem asap> thank you
