Question:

Wireless phone cord extension?

The office building we just moved into had an issue when it was being built, resulting in the lack of phone jack in the kitchen. There really needs to be a phone in there because the paging system works through the phones.

Is there a wireless bridge for a simple phone cord that would function exactly the same, thus allowing the advanced features of the phone system such as paging, parking, intercom, etc. ?

  1. depends on your phone system, SOME systems allow you to add a standard "POTS" phone to the station card. Then you could use a standard cordless phone and have the system wide features when you dial commands.

Also, again, depending on the phone system, you can add a system cordless phone but they are VERY expensive.

Why not just have the building manager add a phone jack?
