Wireless range suddenly dropped?

Question

I’m using a DLink DI-524 wireless router, and the internal wireless in my laptop to connect to the internet.

(There’s also two other laptops in the house which are running off the wireless, but I'm the only one who changes what room I use my laptop in, so they don't seem to see the 5ft range as a problem.)

My laptop used to work anywhere in the house. Now it won’t work more than 5 feet from the router.

What could cause this?

maybe your getting interference from a cellphone or other device that uses radio waves try moving cellphones away from you laptop it should be fine
