Wireless router and ethernet connection?

Are there routers out that dont need to have an ethernet port to operate? And also my computer doesnt have an ethernet port, would it be expensive to get someone to add one?

  1. A good Network Interface Card is not that expensive and only take about 5 mins to fit. You must have an old computer as these cards are now standard


  2. For router to work, you'll also need an NIC card for your computer, like these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...

    It could be expensive to get a person to install it for you, but ask your friends who are good at using computer to install it for you.

  3. yes there are alot of routers that need an ethernet connection to work but that if it was very old one nowadays most of them just need the ethernet connection to configure and then forget about it because it will be wireless .

    so for your computer just get a wireless connection and add it to the computer  .

    ask in the market i think they will do it for you for free because you bought it from them .....
