i have the original fat psp and was wondering if its compatible with the D-Link wireless N DIR-625? I heard the psp is only compatible with B and G networks? There IS a sticker on the back that says "wifi certified b g" yet my psp does not connect to the network. It connected successfully ONCE but has not since. And it does connect to my neighbors connection which is an old linksys router so its not the psp

  1. N is a big scary G

N type routers use multiple smart antennae to catch and throw the strongest possible signal, but the signal they catch and throw is good old fashioned G band.

Your device is compatible with N if it is compatible with G.

Check your certs, and you encryption keys.

The PSP and XBOX and the Wii and really all those gaming consoles, aren't too sophisticated in their wireless endeavors. Make it easy for it. Set your encryption to WEP, and use key #1.
