  1. Just get a network card.  You can get a pci card that goes in your computer (very easy to install: take sidepanel off, plug it in, put sidepanel on, boot computer, then you might have to use the cd that comes with the network card to install the driver).  I think I've seen usb ones if you are scared to open up your computer, but sometimes usb stuff can be flaky.

  2. you can buy a wireless modem either from 3rd party or from ISP.............laptop has wireless adaptor,so wireless modem will solve your issue.if you just wanna go out of internet this is great coz all the wireless clients can share net ,,,in my office,i set up wireless modem so all the clients can share internet forming a workgroup LAN............

wireless router could be expensive and the use of it is security and client server LAN,mainly WAN........................................ this helps

  3. Get a wireless USB devise.  Plug it into your usb port and then you will get a wireless connection to your old computer.  Netgear sells them, I have one and it works great.  $25 at best buy/

  4. GET A NEW COMPUTER?

IM NOT GOOD WITH THAT STUFF BUT ANYWAYS WISH YOU GOOD LUCK!

  5. there isnt. so what i would do is i would try to see if there is a converter

  6. Ethernet cards cost like $10, they are easy to install.  Why not get an Ethernet card for the old PC?

Other alternative is a USB Wifi nic for the old computer.

  7. never heard of a pc with USB and without ethernet nest ah ah!  anyway u can connect a wifi adapter and go with that... since the router is probably one feet from the pc is gonna be nearly the same thing... they have some cheap ones on walmart less than 30$

  8. why don't you just install a wireless interface card in your old computer.
